1/6/2024-Mexico North defeated Cuba 3-2 in their 2nd game of doubleheader on Saturday Afternoon in Houston. Eric Cuevas had the key hit with two rbis to lead Mexico North for a sixth inning rally. Samuel Ibarra went 5-2/3 innings before yielding to Kris McCray.

Cuba had one way to score and it was the long ball Osday Silva and Freddy Gonzalez each hit solo homers for Cuba who lead 2-1 after 5 innings.

Michel Taylor started for Cuba and threw 5-1/3 innings allowing three runs while striking out eight. Yeison Montero came in the six inning and got out of a bases loaded jam to keep Cuba within one run. Cuba could not muster a run vs Kris McCray and Mexico North held on.
