Players from all over the US and Canada will come to Houston and train and play for one month in hopes of getting independent Spring Training Invites or possibly affliated contracts.
This is the first time in history a league like this has existed in the State of Texas. Before players had to travel to Florida or Arizona for such leagues now there is a league in Houston and it is around 1/3 of the cost of the typical leagues. The cost is even lower than this if you have your housing and transportation in Houston.
There will be 20 Spring Invites issued to the players in this league.
